from this information could any of you tell me (with certainty) if my mobo is fried?:
-when i power on the computer i don’t get a picture but I DO get a continuous single beep (separated by 5-6 secs of silence).
-Upon inspecting the RAM there were 3 gold connectors which were charred (and corresponding charring in their dimm (?) positions).
-my video card’s fan turns on when i power on.
that is all I can think to include. I am just trying to figure if the mobo is fried, the RAM is fried, or both.
Apologies for the crude description, hope someone can make some sense of this!
