Hi, the title is slightly confusing…Basically I have been having difficulty with an HP laptop at work. Anyway managed to repair windows, but when repairing, it installed windows on the HP_RECOVERY partition! This isn’t really a problem but all the applications that were previously installed, now have incorrect registry entries.
Does anyone know of a piece of software that can fix this? I know of all the cleaners that can delete the entries, but is there anything that can write new entries in or will all the applications need to be re-installed?
