Is there a way to auto archive items in Public Folders using Outlook?

By jaked ·
I am using Office Suite 2003 and have many items flowing into some of the public folders I have created. Is there some way to reduce the clutter and size of my folder by using some Auto Archiving feature in the public folders? I know you can do this with mail, but there has to be some way for the public folders to be auto archived too? Thanks!

I'm in the same boat

We use public folders extensively but haven't found a way to autoarchive public folders. Right now, were're manually archiving the folders by dragging and dropping the content into a PST stored on a shared drive (which cannot be opened by multiple people at the same time).

It'd be nice to have a server-side rule to autoarchive public folders.

There must be some software

Is there no software that can be suggested?
This would take hours to do it manually, with especially with limits on dragging and dropping?
