I recently had to install iTunes on my computer again and I couldn’t access it because it was a limited account, for some reason. My admin account was locked so I used safe mode and lifted the password.
It was my first time using safe mode and I made the user account that I had been using into an administrator but when I restarted the computer, my personal account had vanished.
I thought maybe it was because I had made it just ‘administrator’ and there wasn’t a ‘user’ behind it so I went back to safe mode to turn myself back into a user so I could give myself admin priveleges when I went back to the admin account but for some reason, my personal account had completely vanished from the screen. Even when I looked through my computer, no files that had been on my personal account showed up.
