Hi!

Simple answer no!

But if you get alot of spam from let's say hotmail you can block all mails coming from and going to hotmail.

If you don't want to stop it that way you will need to get third party tools.

Just call your local software store and ask for prices on a few diffrent spam and mail filtering addons for Exchange or wait for Exchange 2000 and upgrade.

Have no tips on which mail filtering software that is great or bad for Exchange since we don't use one yet either.

Assuming you are talking about relay here, the answer is as follows. If you only have exchange users on the server running the IMC, the answer is to go to the connections property page of the IMC and check the box titled "clients can only submit if homed on this server"

The Solution for #2 is good for acting as a relay you will also need to add the IP addresses of any PC that uses a pop 3 client into the Routing Restrictions or the IPs of any of your servers that is allowed to relay (IE UNIX server running Sendmail)

If your problem is with certain email addresses or Domain names sneding mail into your company you can then do the following

1) go to the Internet Mial Serive
properties in the connector container.
2) In the connections tab select "message
Filtering" in the "Accept Connections"
box.
3) Then you can add either the invidual
Email addresses or the domain names.

we had to do this to prevent some harrassment mail from an old employee.
