Is there such a thing?

By AnswerMan ·
I have a P4 box that the little clip broke off of, that holds the CMOS battery in. It is not able to be resoldered for various reasons.

Does anyone make a remote CMOS battery holder, that attaches to the MB somehow?

But you need a Header Strip on the M'Board to attach the Battery to and you have to watch the Polarity as well.

You don't need to use one of the Coin Batteries here either any 3 V DC Battery Pack will do. So you could in theory use a Double AA Battery Holder to do this job.
