Is Windows 10 the last Microsoft OS for you or you are moving to Windows 11

    by khenapart91 ·

I’ve been on Windows since 3.1 days but did play with BeOS, Linux, etc.

The recent Apple chip advances as well as a slow build up of “junk” + as usual recent insider ad tests in Windows 11 made me question my future. Like, before it was always “windows for life”, now the scales are not the same anymore. Didn’t think this day would even come, to be fair.

Chances are that I will be getting Windows 11 after taskbar is fully fixed, but just wondering if anyone else is in more advance switching stage at this point and plans to jump into something else.

It took a while to tune it in but what is this taskbar is broken problem?

Seems fine to me. It is different but I can’t find what you mean by broken.

When I bought my current desktop computer, it had Windows 10 installed. When Windows 11 became available, I gladly switched and never regretted doing so. Ther is always a bit of a learning curve with any new OS version, but I adapted quickly and I suspect many folk did the same.

As a big fan of Windows 10, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with its stability, security, and all the cool stuff it can do. But guess what? Windows 11 is on the horizon, and it’s got me all excited! From what I’ve seen and heard, Windows 11 is like a breath of fresh air, with tons of new features and a sleek design that’s gonna blow your mind!

Now, don’t get me wrong, Windows 10 has been a trusty buddy, but I think it’s time to step up our game and dive into Windows 11. The new Start menu, Taskbar, and centered alignment make the whole thing look super fancy and easy to use. And let me tell you, the virtual desktops and gaming improvements are off the charts! Plus, it’s all set to work smoothly with the next-gen hardware. Can’t wait!

What really gets me hyped is the focus on productivity and multitasking like a pro. With the new Snap layouts, Snap Groups, and virtual desktops, it’s like they made it just for folks like me who juggle a million things at once. And the promise of better performance, less resource hogging, and longer battery life? Sign me up, please!

Now, I get it. It’s normal to have some reservations about switching to a new operating system, especially when Windows 10 has been treating us so well. But you know what? Embracing change and embracing the future is part of growing up and keeping up with the latest tech trends.

Here’s the good news: Windows 11 is all about compatibility and making the transition as smooth as butter. Microsoft has shown us how it’s done, so we can rest assured that our favorite apps and software will work seamlessly with the new OS, keeping our workflow intact.

Ultimately, the decision to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 is a personal one. It depends on what you need, what you like, and how excited you are about the new features. For me, the promise of a fresh and polished experience, along with the potential for boosted productivity, makes Windows 11 a no-brainer.

So, my friends, let’s gear up for the future and make Windows 11 our next OS adventure. Change can be scary, but it’s also a chance for growth and new discoveries. Let’s take the leap together and embark on this exciting new chapter in the world of Microsoft operating systems!
