Is your server room earthquake-ready (question mark)

The last time I visited the phone room at an important client, they had two telco racks sitting on the raised floor, but not bolted to the floor or wall.

I pointed out that although earthquakes are rare on the East coast, they do happen, and it would be a baaaad thing if the rack holding their T1 CSU/DSUs fell over.

Thus they installed steel ladder-rack above the rack and bolted their racks to the floor and to the wall (via ladder rack).

While there were only some minor tremors here, I wonder how many people here ever take the simple low-cost precautions to prepare their data centers for seismic events?
