Block Yahoo & MSN using ISA

by rajnair76 In reply to ISA 2004 and Instant Mess ...

create a an address range between 216.155.193.131---216.155.193.185 and 66.163.181.149 to 150.Create a rule to deny access to these ranges.Thats it.Yahoo Messenger Bocked...!!! For MSN,u can use the application signature blocking and it works well.
Consider to allow only the port range between 20 to 6999 if you have a normal internet atmosphere. It will block tons of unwanted applications in the LAN.Be in safe side..Always..But pls keep in mind that I created a separate internal network rule for managers and the management and they hve allmost full access to the internet..!!!
