ISA Server Configuration

By parameshst ·
Hi All,

We recently procured a 512Kbps DSL Line and we got 2 Static IP addresses free bundled with it.
Ours is a Windows 2000 Domain network with 30 systems and domain controller.
I installed an addtional NIC on one of the server and assigned one of the Static IP address given by ISP and directly connected to the DSL Router's LAN Port (only one port was available on the router)and made the server as ISA 2000 Server with Firewall and Web Proxy and opened http, ftp and radmin(4899)port for inbound traffic and all protocols for outbound traffic and things are working fine.

Now I need setup another system using the second IP Static IP address so that our Branch can access the same through various protocols and ports Radmin (4899). How
can i setup this.
I feel this is something to do with the ISA Server rule settings.
Any help will be appreciated

First thing is connectivity: If your DSL router (it was a router not a modem correct) has only one LAN port then you'll have to uplink that LAN port to a switch. That switch will connect both PC's to your public network (internet)using the provided ip addresses. You cannot use that public IP address from behind your proxy (since you should have a local address table). If you need Local (behind your ISA server) access to this "second" pc you can set up protocol and access rules to the second public ip address. If your port settings are already working correctly then you just have to map whatever application to the second public ip address.
