LSASS.EXE System Error upon boot up
When my XP home esition system starts up, I get a system error message “lsass.exe system error. When trying to update a password this return status indicates that the value provided as a current password is not correct”. Windows will not load.
When I attempt to use the recovery console, I am prompted for an administrator password. I donot have a password assigned and when I just hit enter (after three attempts) the console is aborted. How can I eliminate this error or remove the administrator password prompt in order to repair the problem?
