iSCSI Bad Behavior

by tedingus72 . Updated 17 years, 8 months ago

I have had this happen to at least two servers here. We have a new EMC Clarion AX100 iSCSI SAN that we have just deployed and we experience disconnects when servers reboot. When they come up the SAN drive is usually in offline mode and of course the shares for that drive do not come back up and I have to recreate them. I just have to right click on the drive in Disk Management and select Reactivate Disk to get it working but I don’t want to have to do this every time.

Here are some specifics:
Processor: Intel Xeon 3.06Ghz
Memory: 1.5 Gb
OS: Windows 2003 Standard Edition SP2 (I don’t believe this is R2)
NIC: Intel Pro/1000 MT
iSCSI Initiator: MS iSCSI Initiator 2.02, EMC Navisphere Server Utility 6.19.4.9.0

Any help would be appreciated.
