TE1 = Terminal Equiptment type 1 (supports ISDN)
TE2 = Terminal Equiptment type 2 (NOT ISDN needs TA)
TA = Terminal Adapter
NT1 = Networt Terminator Equiptment type 1 ( conects 4 wire ISDN subscriber to conventional 2 wirw local loop.
NT2 = Network Terminator type 2 (Directs traffic to and from different customer devices and the NT1.
I would like to learn more about these devices,I know the theorical definition from Cisco curriculum but I’ve never seen any of them devices or how they are connected perhaps someone can reffer me to a site where I could get info on them, pictures or/and specs of these devices would be great, and how is layer 1
configured. (connections)
Please an ISDN expert around???
