Hi,
Of late we are unable to connect to not more than 3 BRI ISDN lines out of total 8 lines. The balance 5 ports any one line will become Active and goes to Deactivated state in few seconds & this status keep changing between these balance 5 ports. When we connect one BRI at time all the lines are working.
Local TELCO says that their lines are OK because they were able to connect to their Digital phone. We have 2 points: 1)The Layer 1, which carries the D-channel signaling Status was DEACTIVATED and line status LEDs in OFF state? 2) If the lines are functioning individually why they are not functioning when all are plugged to the Routers 8 port BRI module?
We appreciate if anyone who faced this sort of problem can suggest us the possible cause and corrective solution.
Router details are as follows:
Router : CISCO 4000 Series (Basically used for static point to point routing.)
No of BRI Lines: 8

Layer 2 Status:
TEI = 64, State = MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED
Layer 3 Status:

CCB: called=17, sapi=0, ces=1, B-chan=1
CCB: called=8055, sapi=0,ces=1, B-chan=2
