ISDN Connection - problems

By Simon Monaghan ·
A customer of mine recently signed up with a new ISP using a supplied CD. The CD installed it's own version of IE5 & other files. Now he cannot send or receive mail, nor access the Net. ISDN is via a BT Speedway Router. Despite lots of help from theISP's technical support (including checking mail server settings, etc), the problem remains. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I dont know BT Speedway Router but i have ever seen this type of problem with an internal ISDN modem.
my solution was using an RTC modem, but i learned recently than it depend of the compatibitity with the router. Look for a compatibility sheet inthe router documentation.

After a LOT of trial & error, I now know that the problem only happens when there are messages in the Outlook Express outbox. If the outbox is empty, then no problem, but no sending mail either! Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated.
