You need to configure a dialer map. There's a good configuration guide at Cisco that includes all the commands you need to configure Static IP Routing over ISDN. It's at this url...(remember, no spaces if this performs a line wrap)
http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/779/smbiz/service/configs/isdn/isdn_ip_static.htm

This should get you up and running. Best wishes,

It prompt for a username and password for the CCO to login.
I already configure the dialer mapper and my problem is that the ISDN is not dialling the other side.

Sorry, didn't know you were looking to use ISDN as a backup. I just went out to the cisco site and was able to access the document without logging on...if you can't get there directly, go to www.cisco.com. Do a search from the home page on ISDN backup. It will take you to a list of documents. Select "Configuring ISDN Backup with Floating Static Routes". This should get you up and running. Here's the direct link:

Best wishes,

This is what i need. Just 2 more additional questions.
1. On the example is the BRI(dialer) call only if the Serial0 is down or the BRI always up.If always up how to configure it to perform only dial-in if serial0 is down.
2. I have a cisco 2610 and NT1, i want to make sure that im using the right cable. Is it cross over cable or straight cable that i will use from the router to NT1.
