I believe that many people like Nero software. I've
heard good things about it over the years. I just
checked their site. There is a trial version available for
download, although the retail price is only $15.00. The
Nero web site did not specifically state that it could
burn bootable CDs, but one of the software reviews
that I read said specifically that it could handle ISO and
bootable CDs.

Here are the links that I found. Sorry for the long
URLs. I have never used tinyurls yet and have had
trouble following links created by others through
tinyurls.

//www.nero.com/us/index.html

//www.nero.com/us/nero6.html

//www.mpex.net/en/software/details/neburom.html

Let me know via comment if this doesn't work.

Unless I am missing something, or making a bad assumption, you need to change the method of creating the CD.

You do NOT just copy an ISO image to a CD and get the desired results.

You need to look through the options on your CD burning software and look for the option to write an ISO image to a CD.

I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.
To burn an ISO image to a CD properly, I would select file, then Record CD from CD Image.

There is a similar option in Nero.

For XP's built-in CD burning software, you need either the ISO power toy from Microsoft, or a third party utility.
