Isolating FTP Users in IIS5

By mrandy ·
I am trying to setup an FTP site with IIS 5 that will only allow students to access their FTP folder only. I have used the Technet article: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/proddocs/server/wsa_ftp_isolate.asp. It puts the user to their home directory but allows them to move up a directory to the main ftp site.

I am trying to give each Web Design Student their own Website on IIS and isolate them to FTP only to their site. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think IIS5 will allow this. The article you pointed to was for IIS6 (Windows 2003 Server). Perhaps that's what you meant?

Thanks for pointing that out. I realized I pointed to the IIS6 article but was hoping someone would know in IIS5. Thanks for the input.
