I have been trying to troubleshoot an issue that i am having on my network. Here is the issue. We have a remote office that is connected to our main office via a t1 line. Over this t1 line we have a point to point vpn connection. Recently users in the remote office have been complaining of slow login times to the domain (sometimes in excess of 1 hour to login). Then after it logs the user in they lose connection to our file server and our exchange server. Now we have romaing profiles for each user but this never used to be an issue. I have checked network settings on each pc in the remote office and they are all the same. They have static ip’s, dns points to our dns server, no netbios is used. Dns seems to work correctly as i can get FQDN of both servers from each work station as well as pings. We also have other remote locations that are set up the same way with none of these issues. I have searched and searched and have yet to find something that works. Any ideas?
