Two weeks ago I started a job in an IT department for a publishing company. For three plus years I worked for Dell as an Account Manager for Small and Medium Sized Companies. I have a decent amount of knowledge around software and hardware and eventually want to get into consulting. I’m curious and am interested to know how those that do IT consulting got their start? How much experience did you have prior to starting out on your own? What has your experience been thus far?
