IT Implementation Coordinator?

by menace65 . Updated 25 years, 8 months ago

I’ve been working with computers, in some way or another, for about ten years. I started out as an administrative assistant, but one who did desktop support and training…and finally ended up as an MIS Support and Training Specialist. I feel I amthe type of person who can get anything done that someone asks of me, but I’m not the “idea” person. I’m now faced with interviewing for the position of IT Implementation Coordinator. I do feel confident of my abilities to bring the technical people together with the business people, and run interference when necessary, but what is this job REALLY all about? I feel like I will need to use all my technical skills, along with my analytical skills, as well as develop management skills along theway. Any insight would be most appreciated. It does sound like a wonderful challenge for me, but I feel more information about what I should expect would be helpful. Thanks!
