IT Legislation in the US

By CMO ·
I'm an IT Manager who has moved from the UK and am now working in the US. Does anyone have any good sites/resources that can help me ensure that my company is compliant with current legislation related to IT activities? I know this is a huge topic but any pointers/reference sites would be appreciated!

Is your company privately or publicly owned. Currently, this makes a big difference regarding disclosure, privacy, Sarb-ox, etc.

Get a lawyer

That specializes in the field your business is in.

Anything short of that has a BIG chance of coming back to bite you in the A$$ later on. Not a good thing if it is your name on the dotted line.

good luck.
