IT Portfolio of Evidence

Hi there everyone
Here’s a question which is really bugging me.
Anyone out there know if there is a standard template/guidlines for a Portfolio of evidence that It Pro’s should use to prove their competencies.

I know it sounds a bit odd and like a CSI collection kit, but no, it is apparently the new HR method out there for It individuals to prove their abilities and work.
