IT Purchasing Process

Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone has a tmeplate or other resource I can examine when it comes to end user purchase requess. Currently we use multiple PDF forms thaat an end user would download, print, ask for IT help in filling out, get approvals and signatures, submit to IT. We then submit that to finance to process.

It's not difficult at all to create what we want from scratch but the more we think about it the more complex it becomes. What we want to do is have a simple HTML webpage in our intranet that an end user can go to, select information from drop down menus (to ensure all the info we require is there) and hit submit which will in turn send an email to our helpdesk (person or software) for processing.

I searched T.R. for any templates or tips but haven't found anything specific to managing purchase requests from end users.

Any help, advise or info is appreciated.

Simple Purchase Request Process

Since we moved our entire office to Google Apps we were able to implement a lot of simple applications(such as purchasing) for our internal and external use. We only manage a single sign-on for all users. For purchasing, you can very well use Google Forms that come with Goggle Apps. I hope this advice is useful. Tell me what you think.

I've created a SharePoint library and we are using InfoPath forms for web-based purchased requests. The requisitions the go through a workflow on SharePoint.

Working out pretty well.
