Suppose there is a wireless lan/wan connected to the internet. Now can we make the lan/wan which is connected to the internet to work as a client/server architecture? I want the server as a database server. It can be oracle/sql. But think that the lan/wan is connected to the internet. So now it is a part of distributed system. So now is it possible to make a windows application by vb.net2005 to run it in the wireless lan/wan in a clint/server architucture. I used client/server wired lan which is not connected to internet with a vb.net windows application and a database server. Now what i should do? Do i need to switch to asp.net web application? One thing to be noted is that my application will run only in the lan/wan not in the internet.
