I am currently working at a healthcare provider in an IT department of 2. We support 24 remote locations and our corporate office where our offices reside. We have frame relay connections to all facilities. We have about 350-400 users with 60 servers, switches, 25 routers, printers, 100 kiosks and a VPN.
Our exec. VP is asking us for staffing recommendations and we are sure we need additional staff but do not want to make any mistakes of how to staff the department. We currently support all servers (w2k, 2003), routers, pc break/fix, printers (laser,inkjet), etc.
What kind of skill sets would be optimal in our situtation and number of staff??
