ITS TIME TO END THE DATABASE STATE

by ben.rattigan . Updated 18 years, 11 months ago

It’s finally happened, we warned them and they didn’t listen. Now the records of 25 million British Citizens have been lost by Her Majestys Revenue and Customs, sent by a junior official on CD’s from Washington to London.

As one of those 25 million people, I would like to say to Gordon and his Morons, resign now and call an election!

This Labour Govt has shown us time and again just how it lacks the ability to manage huge IT projects.

They want National ID cards and a identity register that tracks each time you validate your ID, where and when. They want a database with containing DNA records for every citizen. They are alreay tracking every child from birth to age 19 by fingerprints. They have already introduced fingerprinting in schools and now failing miserably at centralising health records.

The HM Revenue & Customs has lost records before and previously fined many companies for failing to submit their returns when they had. A junior official was allowed to export the records of 25 million people (names of children, bank details, dates of birth etc..!!!), how and why?

They where told not to merge Inland Revenue and Customs & Excise as problems like this would happen, they ignored everyone and did it anyway! Then piled a load of work from the former Department for Social Security on them as well!

This is the Chancellors department and he should resign, as should the PM!
