iTunes song lyrics

When I add the lyrics to one song and sync it with my iPhone, the lyrics becomes messed up. For example:
First rowsecond row third rowfourth row
fifth rowsixth rowseventh row and so on. Or
First row
second row
third row
fourth ro[.....]
Can anyone help me?

New lines go missing?

Are you trying to say that new line & new paragraph disappear? (rather than everything being messed up)

Yeah, when they disappear [...] this sign or something is at the end of the lyrics.
Also the rows are not like a lyric or poem. When I view them on my iPhone, it's like
First rowSecond rowThird rowFourth row
Fifth rowSixth rowSeventh row......

Ok Bimba. Let's hope for someone with an iPhone to comment on this.

To me it sounds like either html is involved (where white spaces, new lines etc are handled like single spaces) or character encoding differences. But I have no way to play and test.
