Some of those positions were too thinly veiled on your part. You could have done better to present them in their best light. And, they would still suck.

        But as always…

Max doesn’t describe the alternative, not on any scope.
Some people do need those things. And some people do take advantage of them.
Don’t show me directions (and these are signposts saying “not that way”, which equals direction) – show me endpoints, targets, the steady state to achieve.

      You know nothing.

        Easy for me to see

The epiphany did not involve propositional science and impossible knowledge.

A proposition of the impossible, both epistemologic and physical. In a word, claptrap.

I have no need to speak of You.
I speak of the things you say and write which – being external to you – are for all to see and comment upon.

        • #2843635

          Ansu, you did earn it

Just like Max has. You signed up, and earned the right to post on this site about Max or whatever he states.

He’s taken the same liberty with me, hence with my trauma of having to endure him for years…I bequeath you mine as well.

          Good hunting 🙂

Maxwell was telling how he was going to stop working and be a welfare leech

and blame everything on “the rich” and “greedy corporations”.
          Ya know, agitprop 101.

Hence, my first comment. Humor done well is hard for opposition to overcome.

As to my second comment, he would have had to spend far longer with the piece and execute it far more craftily, in the vein and style of a Swift.

But, Max would never do that

          by jck ·

In reply to Maxwell was telling how he was going to stop working and be a welfare leech

He’s elite. Didn’t you know that? With is all-knowledgeable being and omnipotence, Max will surely just go make $20M and sit back with his hat on and tell stories about how great he is and how all his ideas can cure the world.

We should just make him dictator. That way, he can flog all the poor and go drink bordeaux with his mountain-dwelling aristocratic kind.

He’s the type who qualifies for government support, but refuses it.
          Out of principle.
          His dime, his choice.
