I've uninstalled my vga drivers ...now screen goes blank when XP sp3 loads

By masch62 ·
My graphics card drivers(nvidia mx440 XPsp3) didn't show in device manager, only default vga drivers - even after installing new drivers (I've installed graphics drivers in dozens of computers). In an attempt to force things along I uninstalled the vga drivers in device manager (stupid idea). Now after windows loads I get a completely blank screen (no text, no cursor - nothing).
Tried safe mode, vga mode, safe mode with cursor - nothing. How do I enable vga mode again.

Use one of the Boot Disc's

Like the Ultimate Boot CD

http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html

or the System Rescue CD

http://www.sysresccd.org/Download

and then when running use that to reinitialize the Drivers. The NVidia MX440 don't need any extra drivers as they are included with XP. :)
