Do you have Dot Net installed?

Microsoft is trying to make JAVA irrelevant.

I would expect most items on the MSN site to be using versions of Dot Net and not JAVA.

Of course, Microsoft's version of JAVA was NOT 100 percent compliant with Sun's specifications.

You may need Microsoft's version of JAVA to use any JAVA code on a Microsoft site.

1. From AOL 7.0, 8.0, or 9.0 CD, double click on JAVAVM.exe in the AOLTECH folder. The version is 5.00.3802.

2. The latest version of MS JAVAVM is 5.00.3810. Search from with keyword ?5.00.3810?. Download and run it.

Microsoft included JAVA VM in Windows XP Service Pack 1 and took it out in XP Service Pack 1a. The version was 5.00.3805.
