Java Compiler Option in IE 5.5 missing

My IE5.5 DOESN’T have a Tools/Advanced/Option of Java Compiler. Can’t use the Java method web page downloads. Tried Reinstalling IE5.5 still no option shown. Where is it? how can I tick it.
