Java Swing not responding to mouse
I am running Windows 2000 SP4 and J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 8.
Any programs which use Java as their GUI do not respond to the mouse. Only keyboard will work.
I have a Microsoft Intellimouse which works fine with all other applications.
When I open the Mouse properties in the Control Panel, I receive error:
"Some mouse settings might not work until you connect a Microsoft mouse to a USB port on your computer or set up a Microsoft mouse that uses Bluetooth technology."
Could this be related?
I've searched and not found any mention of J2SE and Win2K having an incompatiblity (with Swing) yet.
Cheers,
Steve
