Javascript/HTML/Passing Parameters

By ebgasper ·
I have a few product solutions that passes parameters from one screen to another and I noticed that there is a way in which the url address does not change from one screen to another. Also, if you were to hit your refresh button, the browser does not redirect you to the url address displayed in the Address box. How is this done? Do you have to use a combination of Javascript and Frames? Sample code or direction to a web page that explains how to set this up would be very helpful.

Here's what I am trying to do. For example, If I was to type the url address www.me-phi-me.com the browser takes me to the web site. While on the web site, I click on the link Contact Us (www.me-phi-me.com/contactus.html). The browser displays the Contact Us page, however, the url in the address box of the browser still reads www.me-phi-me.com. If I was to hit my refresh button, instead of the browser redirecting me to the home page, it stays on the Contact Us page. Basically, I do not want users the capability of changing the parameters that are embedded with the url address without having to manually retype the entire address. I hope this helps.
