Jeopardy Game that runs through a LAN (multiplayer)

by lamontjames . Updated 18 years, 10 months ago

I’m in deep s**t, and I need help. I was asked to come up with a LAN-based, multiplayer Jeopardy game with 2 types of program communicating: a server program (supposedly somethin’ like Trebeck’s game interface) and a client program (for each of the 40 contestants in a computer laboratory, with their spacebar as buzzers somthin’ like that) IN FOUR WEEKS!

Could anyone help? I’m not sure if I’d use TCP or UDP implementation…I’m quite a newbie in lan game programming…which one’s faster? Coz’ we have a bad network architecture and we get lags all the time.

I need all the help I can get. If you have sample code or programs I can start with that you’d freely share I’d appreciate it a lot. Thanks.
