Job hunting manners; A 2 way street

by flashshadow . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

I do have a job hunting and work proposal pet-peave. What my associates and I find is that very few employers or prospective bid proposals, come back with any response from an internet or newspaper work posting.
We would like to get some feedback even if it’s “sorry, but the position, or work has been filled…”.
We, the applicants, understand that it’s unadvisable not to provide a thank you letter, for an interview but it’s OK for a prospective employer or client not to provide feedback.
But in our world of technology they could at
least send an auto-email stating the result or status or a thank you for our interest.
How can we change this pattern that has been an unwritten business rule?
