Dear Sir/Madam

Since I downloaded Microsoft Office 60 days free trial. It is so frustrating and baffling as I am unable to get Microsoft WORD to open without obstruction IE small windows appearing on the screen asking me to restart and check my security

I would be grateful if you help me or if I have to uninstall this programme.

I thank you for your help and consideration

With kind regards

Joe McGrath

did you download it from?
do you have an up to date antivirus running?

It sounds like some sort of malware to me...try running malwarebytes http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4716-malwarebytes-anti-malware.html

You can also try this

When you clearly have malware running in your computer, then it may be safer to boot the computer from a live cd and scan&repair the hard drive that way.
(Since some malware may try to mess with the virus/malware scannar)

A free such resource (which is often updated) is here:
http://www.freedrweb.com/livecd/
Download it on a clean computer, burn the disk, then boot your sick computer from this disk.
But, first of all, carefully shop around for solutions you fell good about and read all instructions before you start.

I have found over the years for most (not all) spyware/malware/viruses that these tools have served me well. I carry all four programs on my flash drive for those cases when one cannot download them due to some nasty or other. Once installed and updated, I run them in safe mode first (f8 on boot up)then in normal mode.

And that's my two cents for the day !
