Joining a domain – .PST Incomplete?

I have a Windows 2000 computer that joined to the domain today. All went well except when I tried to Import the users backup .PST file from Microsoft Outlook. Most of all the files/folder/subfolders were returned with the exception of ? Notes? that were part of the .PST file. I have searched locally and on the Domain for an archive.pst file that the user claims existed. No such file was found. Is the user?s ?Notes? lost for good or is there another method of bringing back the whole .PST file back again?
