JUST PRINT USER-LEVEL PERMISSIONS

by pad_jcr . Updated 18 years, 12 months ago

Hi, one client asked me about something that I have never done and I would like some help from you guys, if it’s possible.

We have windows server 2003, and with one particular shared folder (containing pdf, doc and xls files), the company just wants to grant print permission not allowing the users to save the files on their computers to be edited.

I dont know if it could be done with Policy Groups, and in this case, how. I also don’t know if it could be possible just with AD permissions.

Thanks so much in advance to any help.

Juano.
