I am running Suse Linux 9.3 and have a Toshiba R2512 dvd-rom drive. When using K3B to write a data file to the CD-R 52X using the default settings, it bombs with a cdrdao error. But if I use UDF and uncheck verify under writing, the generic driver kicks in and writes the file to CD-R. The history is that the system was at 10.1 and had to be downgraded to 9.3. My question is how do I get k3b to write just using the default settings of rockridge and verify write.
