I am working on a Compaq pressaro 4540 with windows95. Problem is that when I install the software for visioneer paper port scanner 6100b I get constant error messages : kernel32 error. If I click to clear the message straight away I can continueto work, if I leave the message up for too long (more than a fraction of a second) the computer hangs and I have to re-boot. this happens on start-up and whenever I launch aol, but only if the paperport software is installed. Has anyone encountered this and if so have you encountered a fix? Many thanks in advance!
