keyboard disabled after installing software

by fatahuddin . Updated 17 years, 4 months ago

The keyboard of my toshiba, satellite m35-s311 with opensuse 10.3, disabled after I installed an rpm to detect my usb modem, which was usually detected as a flashdisk .

After rebooting, my attempt to access the bios to make sure what was happened failed.

I reseted the Bios to factory setting by shorting the jumper pad. But I still can’t get my Bios access back.

Could possibly the new rpm modify my bios ?

I downloaded the latest bios update for sattelite m35x-s311 from toshiba official website, burned it, booted it, it ran for about haft way then crashed.

Now I don’t know what to do, please help me , Thank you
