My virus checker warned me about a virus in the file called KGNYNEW.EXE. It recommended that I delete it. Thinking this was a wierd name for a file, deleted it. Well this file is needed for IE5. Without this file, you can not start up applications like ADD/REMOVE software and etc. The file is listed in the registry.
I have searched my other Win98 boxes with IE5 and the web, and can not find this file hidden or other wise!
Can anyone shed any light how I can get around this besides fdisk and etc….
