Kixstart on Win 2000

By dennisbv ·
I am using Kixstart for my log in scripts and we are starting to add Win 2000 pro computers and now the script does not run. How do I get my Kix scripts to run on Win 2000 pro?

Did you get the latest version of Kixtart? This version (4.02) should be fully supported for Windows 2000 groups, both universal and nested groups!

Hope this helps!

But how do I start the script? For my Win 98 machines I start the script with a batch file.

If you have 2K servers you can set a login/logoff script as a GPO.

Else, if you have 2K servers you need to put the scripts in the SYSVOL directory

If it's NT server, don't know. We have 2K Pro, XP and NT workstations on our NT server network and the Kix works for us. The scripts run on a user basis specified in the user object. Try technet I guess
