Anyone have any idea on a knowledge base software. The IT department I work for could use one

Most of these are integrated with some help desk package of one type or another, from stand alone to enterprise integrated.

A couple names come to mind that you might want to look at.

There are a couple other sites that might have additonal resources or references

Best thing to use is a call tracking system that has a Knowledge Base attached. Goldmine Heat is a great program. The knowledge base can be used via the web. I makes it convenient for your techs and your customers. (Customers can research the answers to their problems.)
