    Can someone tell me?

I know people who built it in Sharepoint, because their company already had it.

That being said, the first thing you should do is to list your requirements.

Once you know what you want, I see both programs have a free trial.
So turn the requirements into a representative test set of data you want to put into the KB, find 2 or 3 people in the company to enter them and 3 to 5 equally representative people to search in the KB built. When prepared like that, run the free trials to see what’s better for you.

Nobody else can choose for you. And without any mention of requirements nobody can even tell you what their preference would be and why.

And remember, it’s easy to setup a website, but it’s difficult to keep it current. The same goes for a knowledge base. So the ease of maintenance (find outdated knowledge and update or delete it) is an important criterion.

A knowledge base is a technology used to store complex structured and unstructured information used by a computer system. The initial use of the term was in connection with expert systems; which were the first knowledge-based systems.

You can find various knowledge base software that can assist you to build a dedicated portal with categories and answers. The best knowledge base software to use is Zendesk, user voice, and Helpjuice.
