    Knowledge consistency ERROR

    Hi,
    I keep getting these two on my two domain controllers’s event viewer. Any solutions ?

    1. Warning
    Source: NTDS KCC
    Category: Knowledge Consistency
    Event Id: 1091
    Description: The NTDSConnection object CN=Fileserver, CN=NTDSSettings, CN=Servers, CN=Default-First-Site-Name, CN=Sites, CN=Configuration, DC=evalue, DC=com dictates that the local server should replcate from itself. This is not a valid configuration and will be ignored. Please use Active Directory Sites and Services Manager to modify or delete this object.

    Event Id: 1550
    Description: The site CN=Default-First-Site-Name, CN=Sites, CN=Configuration, DC=evalue, DC=com has no childNTDS settings object. Please use Active Directory Sites and Services snap-in to create NTDS site settings object for thsi site.

      According to Microsoft article Q257844 titled, “Active Directory Replication and Knowledge Consistency Checker Fail without Trusted Domain Object”, this error is being reported for Active Directory replication between two domain controllers of different domains which have a parent/child or tree root trust relationship, this error may be due to an absent critical object that represents the trust relationship between the two domains. This object is known as a “trustedDomain” object (TDO) and is found in the System container in the Active Directory Users and Computers tool. This type of object directly relates to the trust relationships displayed in the Active Directory Domains and Trusts administrative tool. If this object is not present in the Active Directory, cross-domain authentication will not be able to succeed contributing to the errors.
