Komodo monitors with Macintosh

by grandhighdruid In reply to Komodo monitors with Maci ...

Macintosh, unlike Windows, does not require anything specific for use of monitors; however, sometimes some monitors require special control software. The only requirement to use ANY monitor in a Macintosh environment is to have the proper physical connector, which depends on the Macintosh machine. If you have a Imac or PowerMac of G3 or newer, then you're okay. If you have an older machine, then you will need an adapter( your local office supply store should either have them or can get them for you). At my previous job they had several Komodo monitors hooked up to older Power PC's. Hope this helps!!!
