Lanman failure

Im currently using win2k on our server and we have all win98 machines on the network as clients.
my problem is when do data sync with our contact manager program(telemagic) I get a error message saying that the lanman redirector has failed and thati should try to save it somewher else. it has also said something about delayed write failure.

I have plenty of memory of every type, network traffic is minimal.

anyone have any suggestions
