I have an hp laptop and windows 7 and have always used norton security. All of a sudden I can no longer get internet access. I have a cable modem and was getting local internet access by plugging the laptop directly into the modem. Always worked fine. I just recently got a router so I could have wireless access. I did have it working wirelessly for about a week. Then all of a sudden I get connected but no internet access.when I click troubleshoot it says local area connection IP address is invalid and wireless connection IP address is invalid. My internet provider was no help they said the modem is working fine. I have ran through some command prompts I found online.. My tablet and phone get access just fine and my laptop works at my moms house with her wireless internet. But here at my house I get nothing.. No acess if I plug into the modem and no access if I go wireless.. Please help I don’t know what else to do! Thank you for taking the time to read this
